Or can you?
Lately, I have been reading several books that involve missing people. Not one, but many. It has made me curious of how many ways you can truly say I miss you. Not in different synonyms, but in poetry – hikus – sayings (none the least). So today, I am going to give a few of my most favorable variations of people trying to say how they miss someone.
I miss the days you held me,
and the days I hear your voice.
I miss the days you were there;
Us falling a part wasn’t my choice. I miss the
days you kissed me, and the feelings
we used to show. But most of all, I miss the guy
I thought I used to know. – Unknown Origin
Eight letters, three words, one regret; I miss you. – Unknown Origin
Did you know that when a certain person appears in your dreams, it because
they want to see you? – Times MagazineWhere I’ve been is a long story, why I am here is easy — I missed you. – Unknown Origin
It’s crazy how you can go months or years without talking to someone, but they still cross your mind everyday. - Unknown Origin
Sometimes, I just miss the sweet kid I fell in love with. – Unknown Origin
And here is mine:
Missing you is like missing the rain, I know the sound it makes, the feeling it gives me when it arrives, and the way it feels on my skin;
I know it’s coming, but I am not quite sure when it will get here.
Sorry I haven’t posted in a while, but I have missed you and will return soon.
